Chapter 18

I shook my head frowning "Darian I just want you to be happy. I can tell your not and...and it hurts. It hurts that I can't make you smile or laugh. It hurts that I don't know how to make my mate happy......." I trailed off releasing him. I felt tears well in my eyes and I stepped back. I was a horrible mate. After all he'd been through I should be able to make him happy. To help him heal but I had no idea how and he was still suffering. He should have been given a better mate who knew how to help him not hinder him. I moved to get out the water but he grasped my arm stopping me. I gasped when his lips captured mine in a urgent kiss that sent my body into flames. He grasped the side of my face tightly as he savaged my mouth taking everything he desired which I happily gave. Sparks and heat exploded inside me making it all that sweeter. Me and Darian hadn't fully mated yet or even said those three little words
