Swallowing hard I stepped in front Simon raising my hands. "Darian please calm down, Simon is just a old friend who was asking me for help" "Don't give me that shit! I know what I saw. I can smell him all over you!" Through the anger in his words I could hear the pain and it broke my heart. "Darian please!" "No! I trusted you and ......" He shook his head his jaw clenching. "Darian no you don't--" "Forget it and forget you good bye mate" he said the last word was so much hate and disgust that I flinched back. With one last look of disgust he turned and stormed out. I stood there in shock not really processing what really just happened. Had my mate really just left me? "Ellie don't let him go! Go run after him girl!" SImon urged pushing me toward the door.
