"It's always you and me." Marley swallowed the lump in her throat, reaching for the closet door with shaky fingers, shutting herself in and satisfying the demons inside of her. "I'm sorry. I won't...I won't wake you next time." Marley was watching Gabby sway on her feet as they walked to the showers that morning. But ever the selfless person she is, she hooked her free arm around Marley's and shook her head over and over. "And what? Get caught sleeping in there? Marley, it's fine. I would've pulled even an all-nighter for you. In a heartbeat." Marley winced at her words. Gabby had stayed awake from about 2 am to 6 am. If Marley sleeps long enough, the urge fades, so when she was shaken awake at around six she was comfortable enough to go back to bed.
