Chapter149: A Sweet Punishment

Delilah innocently grinned to show her lovely teeth as if she had done nothing. Meanwhile, James, who still didn't apprehend, glanced at the rest of the muffins left on the plate. He examined back at Delilah, who was still grinning widely. "You made this cake?" James asked suspiciously. "Yes, is there something wrong? Don't you like it?" Delilah asked while widening her beautiful orbs as if she wished James would love her cake. James sighed faintly and glanced at the cake again. He began to understand that Delilah seemed to want to play on him, although he had no clue why. James chose to play along by eating the rest of the muffins with a slight tilt of his head for a moment. He had almost stuffed the entire muffin into his mouth if it had been just a tiny bit. "Hmmm..." James gave Delilah a thumbs up to praise her. Delilah was initially grinning happily before now losing her smile. But to prevent looking weird, she still beamed at James as if nothing had happened. 'Why did he eat them
