Chapter 40 ALPHA AIDEN'S POV : I walked back to my room in the middle of the night. As I entered my bathroom, I turned on the faucet and splashed some cold water on my face. I took a deep breath and looked at himself in the mirror, smiling content. As I finished washing up and walked back into the bedroom, I heard a soft voice calling out to me. "Where have you been?" asked Laila. I turned to see her sitting up in bed, a concerned look on her face as she looked sleepy. "Just went to get a glass of juice, fresh breeze and all. Now, go back to bed" I told her softly as I laid down too. I and Laila woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside our bedroom window. We both stretched and yawned before getting out of bed. Laila was the first to get dressed, choosing a comfortable pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I took a little longer, making sure to pick out a shirt and pants that matched, dressing nice because I have where to be after breakfast. Once we were both dressed, we made our way downs
