Chapter 35 Lucy Feels Uncomfortable

The call was from Lucy. Wendy didn't want to be annoyed by Lucy, so she hung up directly. However, Lucy did not intend to give up at all and called again. What did Lucy want to do? Wendy was confused. Lucy was a hot star now. There were huge posters and TV commercials of her everywhere in New York. Why did Lucy always have time to bother her? "What's up?" Annoyed, Wendy picked up the phone and asked in a very impatient tone. "Can't I call my sister when I have time?" Lucy said while checking her newly made nails, her eyes full of complacency. This morning, Lucy's spy in Wendy's company called Lucy and said that Wendy had resigned, presumably because of the rumors. Naturally, Lucy didn't want to miss such an opportunity to give Wendy a blow. "I heard that you just resigned. It seems that you have only worked there for a month. You quit so disgracefully. How useless."
