ALPHA KONAN'S POV  "You haven't fallen in love with Madeline, have you?" Rosaline asked with a questioning look on her face.  My gaze snapped to Rosaline.  "What is the reason you ask this question, Rosaline?"  "There's every reason for me to ask."  Rosaline replied without missing a beat. "Look at our pack borders. Alpha Novare indirectly threatens us with each passing hour to withdraw their troops. We aren't too good with security right now. Letting emotions cloud your judgment could be disastrous."  "For the umpteenth time Rosaline, Madeline is a servant who carelessly lost my baby. Nothing more!"  Rosaline arched her eyebrows.  "You are strongly in denial Alpha Konan. It is obvious to me that Madeline has ignited a fire in you and you are gradually growing fond of it. This isn't just about Crescent Pack or her deeds. You care for her."  I let out a frustrated sigh.  "Even if I do, it doesn't change what she's done. She still broke the rules."  "And yet, here we are, debating whethe
