The party had gone by in a blur of excitement, and unlike my mother, I didn't set the tent on fire. Samuel stayed by my side the whole time, it was a relief to see no she-wolf flirting with him. My mother told me that, that would change. No one wants to get caught flirting with the new king and getting a beating from the queen.
