Curtis kissed Marceline. Annoyed, she bit down hard on his lip. But even with the taste of blood in his mouth, he didn't let go of her. Marceline turned her head away in disgust. "You haven't brushed your teeth." Curtis froze for a moment, then buried his head in her neck. "How come you never minded when we used to do it before sunrise when neither of us even brushed our teeth?" Marceline stiffened, her eyes reddening. She thought he had forgotten all that. Back then, he'd always come home late from business engagements. After showering, he would get into bed and hold her, and every time, she would be woken up by him making love to her.
