The young man strode over with a cheerful smile. "Cathy told me about you on the way back. Nice to meet you, Mr. Lindberg. I'm Ezra Robinson, Cathy's boyfriend." Raphael wasn't sure how to continue the conversation. He looked at Ezra and couldn't help but notice how much more vibrant and lively he seemed compared to Catherine. Catherine stood up, not bothering to explain or even glance at Raphael. She said to Ezra, "Let's go. I'll join you for lunch first and continue my work later." Her face remained expressionless, but her voice softened as she directed the line at Ezra, who was behind Raphael. With a bright smile, Ezra went to stand beside Catherine. "Since Uncle Raph is here, why don't I change our reservation to a table for three? We can all have lunch together." "There's no need," two voices rang out simultaneously—one emotionless, the other hoarse. "I already ate before I came. I'm just stopping by for dinner.
