Isabella’s POV It was warm and peaceful despite the night breeze kissing my skin like a warm embrace, comforting me. The sand felt soft against my fingers as I played with it. I was sitting on a cloth on the sand. The calm waves of the ocean and the salty scent were rhyming with my calm heartbeat and Matteo’s gentle caressed on my arms. He was behind me, sitting so close. His legs are spread on my sides as I felt his chin resting on my head. “I feel better now…” I whispered as I slowly looked at him over my shoulder. He looked down at me, his nose touched my cheek. “Thank you.” “I should be thanking you.” He shook his head and tightened his hug around my body. “I feel better now that you feel better.” I smiled, squeezing my eyes close and resting the back of my head against his chest. I could feel his heartbeat. It was calm as if he’s content with what he has now. We stayed in that position for a while, watching the sea in front of us. “Take a picture of us.” Matteo handed me his phone
