Chapter 80: Let's Try the Shower

He leaned in close, whispering against my ear. His fingers traced along the curve of my cheek, each touch lighting a fire under my skin. I could already feel myself slipping under his spell. I pushed him away with what little willpower I had left. "I... I'm going to take a shower first." I turned and darted into the bathroom, heart pounding out of control.
