Liv’s POV It was the last day of the week. I could feel the excitement bubbling inside me as I walked into the office, my mind buzzing with the knowledge that today would mark the culmination of everything I’d been working for. The designs were done. The presentation was ready. And this was my moment. The elevator ride to the top floor felt unusually long, every floor taking me closer to the decision that could change everything. I clutched my portfolio tightly, my fingers gripping the leather edges like a lifeline. As the elevator dinged and the doors slid open, I took a deep breath and stepped out, smoothing down my blouse with one hand while the other held the heavy weight of my work. The boardroom was where it all was to happen. A few people from the team already sat at the table, their faces a mix of curiosity and anticipation.
