Chapter Sixty Three- Dear Past

Mia watched in intrigue. Lucas and Arturo had stepped out but Rafael and Lorenzo were nowhere to be seen. “What’s going on in there?” Mia questioned. Arturo and Luas shrugged. The former had absolutely no idea what secret meeting they were holding in there but he didn’t really care either. If it concerned him, Lorenzo would have told him soon enough. Lucas, on the other hand, knew exactly what was happening. Unfortunately, he couldn’t say anything. Lorenzo wouldn’t like if Mia got insider information. He wanted the woman to know but he wanted for her to know under certain conditions. Lorenzo was terrified that she would find something out that would lead her into shock. He couldn’t afford anything of the sort happening. Not when she was four months pregnant with their child. “No idea. They’re probably discussing what security measures to take when that little one comes into the house.” Mia smiled and nodded. That answer was definitely acceptable. The woman ran her
