  I bent down to her and softly pricked her delicate skin and injected the liquid into her system. Her eyes flung open but I quickly covered her mouth with a tissue and she instantly passed out.

  

      Whatever doc did to this tissue worked a treat. Her body went limp once again and I removed Zayne's arms around her and picked her up, carring her out of the cell.

  

      "Lock it." I whispered to a guard as I made my way upstairs to my room.

  

      I laid her down on my bed and looked at her sleeping figure.

  

      She is so slim and small, as delicate and soft as a rose and she is just as beautiful as any girl I have ever seen. Her eyelashes brushed against her cheeks and she rolled over.

  Madelyn's P.O.V

  

      "Hello Madelyn, I'm Alpha Cullen." A young man walked through the -now fixed- door with a smile on his face. He looked about 19 years old with the same hair and eyes as me. Who is he? And what the hell does he want from me?! My mate might be dead right now and he's keeping me here!

  

      "Who are you and what do you want?" I demanded in a shaky voice. He smiled at me and sat down next to me. I scootched away from him. He frowned at me. "Madelyn, I need to tell you something." He stated and I raised an eyebrow at him. "Oh yeah? What?" I snapped. My eyes widened and I covered my mouth.

  

      I wasnt supposed to say that, I mean, what if he has a knife on him or something! He could kill me with one swipe of his hand if I said one thing out of line.

      Me and Kate have been chatting non-stop for the past two hours while the food cooks. Talking about how her and Joseph met, how he asked her out, when they had arguments and had to sneak out of their houses to meet in the garden at night so their parent's wouldn't find out.

  

      I bent down and checked the oven. "Kate! Food is ready!" She nodded and I took out my cake. I licked my lips and grabbed the icing and decorations.

  

      "Hello dear, I'm Lisa." A lady greeted me with a bright smile. "Hi I'm Madelyn." She nodded and I turned to the other Alpha. "Hello there, I'm Harold." I nodded and we sat down at the table.

  

      We ate Kate's food and I grinned at her. "Kate, this is amazing." I complimented her and Lisa and Harold nodded in agreement.

  

      Kate smiled sheepishly and giggled when Joseph snaked an arm around her waist and kissed her lips. "Eww! My innocent eyes!" I yelled, covering my eyes.

  

      They laughed and pulled away. I let my hands lower and Lisa and Harold looked at me with confusion. "You have a mate don't you?" Lisa asked and I nodded slowly.

  

      "I'm sure you've done much worse than that." Lisa stated, grinning. I gasped and my jaw dropped. "W-W-What?" I stuttered and everyone laughed at me.

  

      Kate stood up. "Everyone done?" We all nodded and she collected in our plates. There was a load of "Thanks" and "That was lovely" from everyone. A minuet or two later, Kate came back in with my delicious looking cake.

  

      "Mhmm," Everyone hummed in chorus and I laughed. We cut the cake up and gave a silce to everyone. I took a bite our of it and smiled. "This is so amazing, well done Kate." Joseph congratulated her.

  

      Kate smiled and looked at me. "Well, actually, it was Madelyn here who made this gorgeous cake for us all." Everyone turned to me.

  

      "This. Is. The. Best. Cake. I. Have. Ever. Eaten!" Lisa exclaimed and I giggled. "Thanks."

  

      A while later Lisa and Harold left and me, Joseph and Kate were all sat infront of the Tv, watching CSI Miami.

  

      I yawned. "Where will I sleep?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. "Upstairs, second on the left. That's the spare room." Joseph said and I got up. "Okay well then, I'll see you two tomorrow."

  

      "G'Night dear." They said together. I smiled at them and made my way to the spare room. It was plain white with one single double bed pushed up against the side to the left.

  

      I took my shorts off and left my t.shirt on and knickers on, just incase. I got under the duvet when a sharp pain stabbed my heart and my breathing faulted.

  

      Mine and Zayne's mind linked open and I saw a vision of him, attacking some wolves but he was seriously injured.

  

      'Zayne!'

  

      'Liz, on thank god you're safe.' He replied, mentally sighing with relief.

  

      'Forget about me! Look at yout stomach!' He looked down briefly and grunted.

  

      'Mearly a scratch.'

  

      'Mearly a scra-?! You know what, I give up. Your never going to put your own saftey first are you?'

  

      'No. Never.' I sighed as more blood poured out of Zayne's stomach and my vision of him faded so I could only hear his voice in my head.

  

      'Liz, look, I'm probally going to get captured. But please don't come after me. Stay with my parents and stay safe. Oh and one last thing.'

  

      'What?' He mentally sighed. 'I love you.' I froze, no one has ever told me that before. I can't deny my feelings for him and I can't lie to him.

  

      'I love you too.'

  

      Then the mind link cut out and eveything went back to darkness.

  

      Madelyn's P.O.V

  

      "Liz... Wake up..." A familliar voice shook my out of my deep sleep. I ignored it and tried to fall back asleep. "Liz! Liz get up!" The voice demanded. I rolled over. "No." I said, still quite asleep. "Madelyn! Get up!" I groaned. "5 More minuets..."

  

      "No! Up now!" I slapped my arm in the air and thrashed it around, trying to hit the person. I found their face and started slapping their cheeks gently. "No. 5. More. Minuets." I said, slapping each cheek with every word I spoke. My hands were caught together and I groggily opened my eyes to face a red-cheeked Tyler. I grinned cheekily.

  

      "You're looking a lovely shade of pink today."

  

      BAM. I rolled around on the floor help-lessly. "Tyler. You shouldn't have pushed me off the bed." I warned. He cocked an eyebrow in my direction. "Oh yeah? And why is that?" I laughed gently. "Because if I had the energy in me you would be dead." He chuckled and offered me a hand. I looked at it and shook my head. He frowned as I curled into a ball on the white carpet and closed my eyes. "Night Ty."

  

      He growled and scooped his arms under me, picking me back up. He stood me up but when he let go of me, I crumbled back down onto the softest spare bed I have ever slept on. He growled again and I laughed. "I'm not getting out of this bed for anyone. Not even you Ty."

  

      "Zayne's been captured by the Rogues and we need to find him." I shot out of bed and I was already dressed and out of the room by the time he finnished his sentence.

  

      He trudged down Kate and Joseph's stairs and gave me a look. "I'm not getting out of this bed for anyone." He mimicked in my voice.

  

      My eyes widened and I looked at him with shock. "That. Was a scarily good impression of me." I said truthfuly. He laughed and I slipped on some blue pumps and went off to Kate and Joseph in the kitchen. "Me and Tyler are going to save Zayne because he's been captured by Rogues okay bye." I said quickly, spinning back around to walk away.

  

      I siletly prayed that they didn't hear me correctly because they would never let me go out into danger.

  

      "Hold on their missy." Joseph said and I slowly turned around. "Yes?" Kate crossed her arms over her chest. "You are NOT going out into danger."

      "But please! Kate! Imagine if you were I and Zayne was Joseph! You would want to go out and save him! Same with you Joseph!" I pleaded. They sighed. "Fine." I grinned. "Thank you." I hugged them tight.

  

      "Now off to find my mate."

  

      "Ssh, stay quiet." Ty said and I nodded. Me and Ty have our backs pressed to the wall of the house we suspect Zayne is being kept in. I peered aound the edge of the house to see 3 guards standing there, with a pistol on their belt. And let me tell you this, they do NOT look afraid to use them.

  

      I dashed my head back and turned to Tyler. "You know, Zayne told me not to get into danger and those guards look pretty dangerous so..." I trailed off, hoping he would get the hint.

  

      He grabbed my shoulders and shook me. "Get a grip! You can EASILY beat those men!" I gave him a blank look. "No I can't." He sighed and ran his fingers through his worn out hair.

  

      "Look, Liz, inside that building is your mate who may be dead. If he's not, they'll be torturing him. And he will be even more stressed out knowing you could be.in danger."

  

      My heart squeezed at the thought of Zayne being tortured. "Lets go." I ordered and he chuckled lightly. We snuck past the guards to an open window on the ground floor.

  

      "Go in, I'll keep watch." I nodded at Tyler. I clambered in the dark room with seemed to have a small cell in it. "Quick! Liz! They're coming! I'll go and get back up." Tyler yelled before sprint off.

  

      I saw some silouetts heading towards me and I pressed my back to the wall and slid down until I hit the ground. I held my breath and closed my eyes while they muttered to each other. "No one's here Josh." A guy said to another, keeping their voices low.

  

      "Okay but keep an eye open for anything suspicious." 'Josh' murmered back.

  

      I heard their footsteps fade away and I sighed with relief. I stood back up and froze when something sharp and cold touched my back. "One more moment and you're dead." A husky voice whispered in my ear.

  

      My eyes widened and my heart soared. "Good girl." He coo'ed before chucking me in some random cell, following me in. He pinned me against the wall, my arms above my head. I strugged against him but I noticed he had the knife in his hand. I stopped immediately.

  

      He smirked. He had blonde hair, black eyes and very muscular. He could easily snap my neck with one finger. He was a good 6"4 and way taller than me. He leaned forward and grazed his lips with mine and I stiffened. He held the sharp knife up against me so it was gently touching my skin. My eyes met his I saw many emotions floating in his blue orbs. Lust, determination and an emotion I could not pin point.

  

      A loud growl errupted from the side of me and suddenly the guy who had the knife was pushed off of me.

  

      "Get the hell away from her!" Zayne yelled and I could feel the anger radiating off of him.

  

      "Don't touch me Zayne." The guy hissed. "Or I'll make your life a living hell." He threatened. Zayne scoffed. "Try me." The man glared at him.

  

      He pointed the knife towards me. "I'll be back in a few hours, and be prepared for hell." He hissed while slamming the cage door closed, locking it.

  

      I groaned and crumbled to the floor and started to cry. I curled up in a ball and sobbed. I'm going to die. I know I will. I can sence that something tragic happened to him in his past and he wants revenge. On me.

  

      Zayne pulled me into him and I cried into his shirt. "Zayne, I'm going to die." I whispered. He stroked my hair gently. "Don't worry baby, I'll protect you." He soothed. I shook my head. "I can see it in his eyes... He's determined to hurt me."

  

      Zayne wrapped a protective arm around me and I cuddled upto his chest. "I love you baby." He told me, making me smile.

      Tanner's P.O.V (Tanner is the guy with the knife)

  

      "Have you got the stuff?" I asked the pack doctor. He nodded un-easily. "Do you really have to do this to her?" He asked and I nodded and took the seringes from him.

  

      I walke down to the basement where HER cell is. Her scent filled my nose and I breathed it in. I made sure they were asleep before creeping in, opening the cage door without it creaking.
