Chapter 119 He Kisses Her
Rosalie froze. She hadn't expected Julian to bring up Lucian, and she had no idea how to talk her way out of it.
"My... My head is spinning," she muttered, pressing her fingers to her temple as her knees wobbled. She sank onto the edge of the bed, kept her chin tucked, and let her gaze slide anywhere but his face.
Julian watched the clumsy act and arched a brow.
He shut the door, then slowly rolled his wrists and neck, his joints cracking.
Rosalie's face went pale. She instinctively wrapped her arms across her chest and snapped her head up.
"What are you doing? I don't love him anymore, I swear! I would never betray you! Please, don't do anything rash!"
Julian walked toward her slowly. She scooted back until her spine met the army-green blanket.
He leaned in and lifted a hand.
Rosalie flinched and squeezed her eyes shut. Her heart pounded so hard it felt like it might leap out of her throat.
The next second, his voice rumbled by her ear. "You wrinkled my blanket."
