When Elijah returned home, Giselle was looking over the information on the villa's maids.
He walked over, slipped an arm around her waist, and planted a kiss on top of her head.
Seeing her staring at one woman, Elijah asked curiously, "Who's this?"
Giselle glanced up at him and said calmly, "Bianca, a poor girl with a pitiful background. She's stuck in the kitchen earning a dead-end salary. I feel a bit sorry for her. Do you think we should sponsor her studies?"
"It's up to you. Do whatever makes you happy." Elijah went to sit beside her, picked up her cup of fruit tea, and took a sip.
Seeing how casually he behaved, Giselle shot him a glare. "Mr. Duncan, please get me a new cup of tea."
Hearing that, Elijah let out an exasperated laugh. He pinched her cheek. "You've swallowed plenty of my saliva, and now you're acting disgusted?"
Giselle swatted Elijah's hand away impatiently. "I'm busy with serious business here. Don't mess around."
