"Just got roped into a little ad gig, had to show up tonight for the sponsor," Cecily said with a faint smile, eyes lowered. Despite the curve of her lips, there was a quiet sorrow on her stunning face. Bellamy caught that look, and her heart suddenly tightened. She blurted out, "Want me to help out?" Cecily was taken aback for a second, then looked up and smiled. "No need. I already owe you big for running to the hotel that time.
