Shane didn't leave. He needed answers for everything. He needed to know when Gianna learned the truth, how she got the divorce papers he supposedly signed, and how she finalized the entire divorce without him. By the time he received the files Harry sent, over ten gigabytes of them, his and Gianna's return flight to Chisea was already close to boarding. Harry reminded him. "Mr. Kurt, are you and Mrs. Kurt heading to the airport soon?" Even Harry assumed Gianna would be going back with Shane. No one had ever considered the possibility that Gianna might not return with him. It was as if everyone believed that once he showed up, coaxed her a little, she would definitely go home with him and reconcile. Shane had never taken this divorce seriously.
