Calvin immediately noticed the displeasure in Hugh's eyes, and he scoffed. "You'll have plenty of time with Serena, yet you can't spare even a moment for me?" he muttered, only loud enough for the two of them to hear, scoffing. Hugh remained silent, his irritation finally subsiding as he pushed the unpleasantness aside. Serena only saw Calvin's lips move but couldn't hear what he said. She was confused. "Grandpa?" "Serena, it's so noisy downstairs that it's giving me a headache. Why don't you come with me for a walk in the garden?" Calvin suggested. As the head of the Larson family, Calvin held the authority to demand whatever he wished. If he ordered silence, no one dared to speak out of turn. He just wanted a private conversation with Serena. Serena smiled and immediately moved closer. "Sure, I was curious about the garden too." "Good, good." Calvin beamed in satisfaction. Watching them leave, Hugh could only sigh in resignation. Noticing his mood, Chandler asked, "Shoul
