“They’re going to die,” he whispered, eyes wide and wet. “Alpha Alexander said that my mama and papa had done something wrong and that they betrayed the pack… the reason the Luna and the Alpha’s dissolution of bond had been approved… now they would be executed in the square tomorrow at dawn. And their crime was that they had decided to defy the Alpha and choose to define the Luna.”
