When Samuel arrived at the hospital, he didn't see Elise anywhere. Only Zara was in the ward. She was dressed lightly, so he draped his coat over her shoulders, then turned and stepped outside to make a call. It was hung up after just one ring. Something flickered in his eyes, and he switched to texting, but there was still no reply. Elise didn't even read his message. "Give me your phone."
