The elevator doors opened before Xavier had a chance to respond. Lily wheeled him out, and she could already see Rowan standing outside the exam room from a distance. Rowan looked a little surprised to see her and gave a slight, dismissive curl of his lips. He didn't say a word to her as he took over Xavier's wheelchair. "We're doing a checkup. Unauthorized personnel must wait outside." Lily stopped and watched as Xavier was pushed inside. From beginning to end, he didn't spare her a single glance. Xavier was wheeled away by Rowan, just like that. The door closed behind them, cutting off her line of sight. Two minutes later, Timothy finally arrived and walked straight in to deliver the medical file. But he didn't come back out. Lily checked the time—it was 9:35 am. At 10:20 am, the exam room door opened. Rowan was jotting down notes in the medical file and quietly giving instructions to Timothy. Timothy was pushing the wheelchair and leaning slightly as he listened to Rowan sp
