Chapter 1370

The way Xavier addressed Anthony sounded much more natural than the way Lily did. Previously, she hadn't realized that Xavier used such a friendly tone when addressing Anthony. "You're back just in time. Dinner will be ready in a jiffy," Anthony said as he ladled some soup into bowls. "I'll head up for a shower and be back down real soon," Xavier replied. He turned around and walked out of the kitchen. While he brushed past Lily, he lifted his hand and pinched her on her cheek. Feeling frustrated, Lily smacked his hand away and fixed her eyes on him as he walked away. Not long after, Xavier was back after his shower. They then sat down around the dining table for dinner. Anthony was full of compliments for Lily's cooking. Without noticing it, he would mention Sharon from time to time, as if he and Sharon were one. After dinner, Lily got up to clear the dishes. Anthony was about to help her out when Xavier said, "Anthony, there's something I'd like to talk to you about."
