VALENTINA Before her radiant lavender eyes, I felt so small as I fell to my knees. "Mother," I whispered, submitting myself. "Arise, my child," she commanded, her voice resonating with power. I experienced a sudden influx of energy, causing me to rise to my feet. "Mother..." I followed her command and looked at her. Still in a daze that feels like a dream. I didn't fall asleep, did I? Her laughter rang in my head like a pure wave, commanding my attention back. “No, Valentina. You didn't fall asleep.” I blinked. She knows! “The power you're searching for, is within you, Valentina.
