"Fine." Perseus said, "But why should I help you solve this? What benefits will I gain?"
Dante retorted, "Benefits? We're all doctors. Isn't it our job to save people? We're here to exchange our medical knowledge and patients' cases with each other. Isn't that normal?"
Perseus' temper flared when he heard that. He wore a mocking smile on his face. "You're trying to figure out how to cure this patient without any effort of your own, aren't you?"
Dante was quite devious. He hastily wrote down a patient's case that he couldn't solve on a note to ask for help from a traditional treatment doctor. Once he learned of the cure, he would label it as a method under Balrean traditional medicine. If he failed to do so, he could insult traditional medicine instead.
His plan was quite comprehensive.
Dante was so angry that his entire face was flushed. Yet, he knew that if he didn't give Perseus some sort of reward, there was no way he would be able to learn anything that day.
