Mr. Ward said, "Of course." He glanced at the salesgirl and added, "What are you waiting for? Go try it on." The salesgirl looked noticeably pale. "Yes, sir." She reluctantly walked back to the rack, grabbed the original dress, and changed into a plain white one instead. Claire raised an eyebrow and said lazily from behind her, "Wasn't that just the dress you were raving about to me? Why hang it back all of a sudden? Let's see how it looks on you first, I’m kinda curious." The salesgirl forced a thin smile and changed back into the dress. Then she headed to the fitting room. Claire sat down beside Sabrina. Mr. Ward tried to cover for her. "Sorry about that, she’s new and still learning the ropes..." Sabrina raised an amused brow. "And you bring a clueless rookie to deal with customers? Mr. Ward, you must be too confident about your business." Her words left Mr. Ward visibly distressed, and he hurried to explain himself. Claire half-listened to them while quietly keeping track of time.
