Leticia whispered, "You don't have to explain it to me, Samuel. All that matters is that your feelings for me are genuine." Although she couldn't tolerate dishonesty, Leticia knew that Samuel's love for her was genuine. His declaration of love was all she needed. Samuel's eyes welled up with tears. He had thought things would go from bad to worse, but nothing of the sort happened. Leticia had come to terms with it so well that he felt like he might still be dreaming.
