Ethan barely had time to move Blair into a sitting position before the sound of screeching tires tore through the air. She almost flinched after what had happened yesterday. But it was Roman’s car that came to a halt so fast it nearly skidded, the driver-side door flinging open before the vehicle had fully stopped.
