“Were you being followed?” Eduardo asked, adjusting in his seat. “No,” Renata replied as she got into the car, her eyes skimming the area again before she turned to look at her guardian. “You said you had a lead. What’s the update?” She asked impatiently, her eyes resting on the brown envelope in the car’s compartment. Eduardo didn’t answer, he only adjusted the cap on his head and knotted the scarf around his neck twice. “Why are you dressed like that?” He snapped his eyes back at her. “How?” Her eyes ran down her outfit before she knew why he was asking her that question. “I now work at the company…” “You work for Lady Constanza?” His voice was deep and laced with disbelief. “Something like that… I work for… Domingo,” she bit her inner lip as the words came out from her mouth.
