"I really must've been blind," Audrey said lightly, as if she were commenting on the weather. She didn't even bother to look at Cameron again. She turned on her heel and started walking away. This whole farce wasn't worth her time, not even as a spectator. Her indifference cut straight into Cameron's chest. He had expected to see her panicking, to hear her scramble for an excuse, or at the very least deny everything. But she gave him nothing, not even the faintest flicker of emotion. The way she had dismissed him with such indifference made fury coil in his chest. Rage surged through him. He gripped her wrist forcefully. "Apologize! You're going in there to apologize to Macie! If you don't, I'll make sure Blucean Tech disappears from Valennea for good!" Audrey stopped in her tracks. She slowly turned back, her gaze finally landing on his face. The next second, she swung the bag in her hand. The leather bag snapped sharply against his cheek. For a heartbeat, the entire corridor
