Chapter 29 Not Letting Her Leave

Janice was genuinely happy about Audrey's decision to get divorced and kept her company on the phone all the way home. When the beep of Audrey's door lock sounded, Janice finally relented. "Oh, since you're home now, go get some rest, okay?" After hanging up, Audrey washed up, got changed, and had just settled into bed when her phone rang again. Julia's gentle voice could be heard the moment she picked up. "Audrey, could you find the time to come here tomorrow? There's something I'd like to talk to you about." Audrey froze for a moment. Julia was the one who was most opposed to their divorce. If she went to the manor, Julia would probably just try to talk her out of it. She was about to decline politely when Julia, who was as sharp as ever, spoke first. "There are things I want to tell you in private. Don't worry. Cameron won't be here tomorrow." Cameron wouldn't be there? Then perhaps it wouldn't hurt to visit Julia, and it would be a good chance to talk about the divorce. Au
