Chapter 39 The Plan Failed

Cameron arrived at Macie's apartment quickly. He let himself in with the spare key. Inside the bathroom, Macie heard the door open and let out a sharp cry as she deliberately fell to the floor. Cameron rushed toward the sound. "Macie!" His hand closed over the knob, and he nearly shoved the door open, but the fogged glass gave him pause. She was his sister-in-law, and she was in the shower.
