Chapter 47 We're Just Colleagues

When Audrey got back to the apartment, Janice had been waiting a while. She hurried over and looked Audrey up and down. "No one messed with you, right?" To Janice, Baker Manor was basically a snake pit. So, when Hayden texted her that Audrey had gone back, she went straight over. Audrey set her bag on the couch, poured herself a glass of water, and drank it before glancing at Janice. "Come on! I'm not that easy to push around. Besides, that's Julia's place. She wouldn't let anything happen to me." Janice finally let out a sigh of relief and sat beside her, nudging her arm gently. "Hey, I think Otto's not bad. He's handsome and brilliant. You two would be perfect together. And I'm pretty sure he likes you." Audrey flicked Janice's forehead. "What are you talking about? He doesn't like me. We respect each other and share the same goal. That's all. Don't play matchmaker." Janice pouted, clearly unconvinced. But when she saw the tired look on Audrey's face, she let it go. "Fine. Take
