Chapter 199

Sara and her family stayed at the Tiernan residence over the weekend. As Sara still had work to do, she headed to her studio early in the morning. Spencer was still asleep when she got up, so she didn't wake him. She quietly got out of bed and washed up in the bathroom outside. She ran into Winnifred downstairs and greeted her before leaving. When Spencer woke up next, he extended an arm to touch the space beside him with his eyes still shut. Finding no one, he opened his eyes and sat up. Looking around, he found that Sara wasn't in the room. He thus put on a jacket, got out of bed, and went downstairs. Spotting him coming down the stairs, Winnifred said, "Mr. Tiernan, Mrs. Tiernan got up early today. She said she was heading to the studio. Mr. Cameron and Ms. Nora had breakfast before going outside with Mr. Tiernan Senior to play. I'm guessing that they're at the park out front." Spencer nodded and turned around to head upstairs.
