Just as Rosalie was throwing her tantrum in the living room, Cameron emerged from Patrick's bedroom. When he saw the cards scattered all over the floor, he glanced around but couldn't spot Teresa anywhere. A bit puzzled, he asked Rosalie, "Where's your mother?" Rosalie shot an angry look upstairs and replied, "She went up." Hearing this, Cameron felt a momentary daze. The Teresa who once treated Rosalie as her whole world now seemed to care little about her. After a few seconds of silence, Cameron took Rosalie's hand and said, "Come on, I'll take you upstairs to wash up." Rosalie dug in her heels. "Daddy, I don't want to sleep with Mommy." Cameron turned to say to her impassively, "Your great-grandpa only arranged one room for us. If you don't want to sleep with your mother, you can go tell him yourself."
