The cleaver struck the snake with a deafening blow, and the snake turned into a cloud of black miasma as a wild gust of wind kicked up. By the time the black miasma had disappeared, there was no sign of Damon or the man in the black robes at all. "F*ck, they got away!" Wilbur cursed. Paul said, "Thank you so much, Mister Penn. Had it not been for you, neither Kyra nor I would have been able to escape. You're a friend of ours starting from now." The thunder cleaver disappeared as Wilbur turned to look at Paul. "Thank you."
