"She taught me how to cook every evening when she made dinner for the family. I used to watch her once I finished my homework." For the first time, a small smile appeared on his face. "I remember rushing my math problems just to see her cook." Lily smiled seeing a bit of innocence flash through the blue in Kevin's eyes. It was true that the burden of the CEO position had changed the man Kevin once was. But at the end of the day, he still had a bit of a child embedded within him. "Eva.....That was her name." A sad smile appearing on his face. "In a matter of days, Eva became the mother I never had. She took care of me, made me food, cleaned up after me. But Lily, none of that stuff ever mattered." He said, looking straight in her eyes. "You know what mattered the most to me? Not the fact that she put food on the platter each night or that she was there to clean my messes. What mattered to me the most was that she was there to hear my voice. To listen to me when
