Travis agreed to do the camping trip, seeing it as a bonding activity kind of thing, even though Scott and Kirstie were still not officially signed over to him and thus wouldn't be attending. Mitch was hesitant to bring Scott up around Avi, though he did discuss the blonde with Alex, knowing Alex would understand. In return, Alex shared a few things he'd learned about Travis. Kevin drove them all to the campground, Mitch asleep on Alex's shoulder during the trip. When they arrived, Travis and Avi immediately went to work setting up the tents, and though Alex offered to help, he was told to stay with Kevin. Kevin was unpacking things from the car, and ended up needing more help than Travis anyway. Mitch took this chance to get answers out of Kevin, rather than risking it with Avi. "Excuse me, Sir?"
