But Luke looked at me with a pitiful expression. "I've already told my parents. They've prepared a whole table of food. Could you at least come up and help us eat?" He rested his chin on his hand, gazing at me with pleading eyes. I felt awkward under his gaze and reluctantly agreed. Still, I knew full
