Michael quickly realized he had let his true feelings slip. Trying to cover it up, he added, “And Sandy is still waiting for you at home.” Ivanka nodded. She knew she had been impulsive today, but what was done was done. Whether it was for the company or to save a life, she could never just stand by and watch Ethan jump off the rooftop without doing anything.
