Chapter 107

They had chased me to wipe me off the face of the Earth. They weren’t going to stop till I took my last breath and there was no mercy in their actions. I was going to die at the hands of my father and sister. It was then I felt the knife slide out of my leg and slam into my arm as it slid across the bone.  I could not hold on and I knew it was far from over. They chuckled at each other as he smirked and pulled it out for another blow. They were taking great pleasure in my pain.  “Nooo….!!!!!” I screamed.  I flew straight up from my bed and throw myself to the other side of the room. Heart racing and lungs pounding I began quickly scanning my surrounding for the threats. Teeth bared and claws extended a roar ripped from my chest.  It was then that I saw Miri kneeling beside my bed, frozen in place with guilt stricken face. Her mouth was stuck open and her eyes wide in shock as she looked down at her hands and then back up at me. Damn h
