Chapter 27: Can't Do It

Melissa's POV I had thought I was not going to survive it, however, faintly, I heard multiple voices resounding in my head.  "You have to do it now before she wakes up!"  It took a while before I process what I heard. Partially, I opened an eye and rolled it within the socket to scan through where I was. Instead, my vision was blurred.  "No! I can't! I can't just do that to anyone!" came another voice but very dim like a male voice. It held a strange resonance frequency.   If I was to be fed to that monster... I wouldn't have woken up... right?
