Chapter 25

JADE I found my way to Suzy's supposed house with her address. Finally.  I stood in front of the light blue building which stood out among the others. I had never been there before so it was going to be a first for me.  Sprinting out of the bar, inside the taxi and as I walked to stand in front of the building, the only thing on my mind was hoping she was alright. I had continued to ring her line desperately as well as Marcel's but none of them were going through.  I just hoped she was alright. Or rather, she needed to be alright.  My phone rang and I checked to see it was Betty. She had probably noticed I was gone and was calling to know where I was. I slid the red button, declined the call and texted her to tell her I would call her back later.  I rushed into the building and got into the elevator, pressing the button to the floor where her apartment was and waited for it to take me there.  All I had to do was check on her and head back to the bar before Saint would notice I was gone
