Jade's pov.  He sighed in defeat. "You caught me." I laughed a little at his expression and he eyed me, looking away.  "Saint sent you, didn't he?" I asked.  "Yeah. He told me to look after you," He admitted. "Now he's going to kill me for real for letting you find out." I was surprised and I knew it was quite evident on my face. "He asked you to look after me?"  "I mean yeah. He does care for you more than you think."
