Chapter Nine - The devil shows up

Regina "Tomorrow?" I shrieked in shock. Enzo kept his calm demeanor, showing no emotions as usual. "I need more time" I pleaded. "You've had enough time. Be there tomorrow and be presentable" he ordered. "Enzo" I tried to reach for him but I stopped myself. "Please speak to him. We can move it forward I...." "What is the point of changing the date? It'll happen either way. The sooner the better before you begin to get ideas. Tomorrow by 10. Not a second later" Enzo is out the door before I fully processed his words. I slumped into my chair and buried my face in my hands. What do I do? I grabbed my phone and dialed Dante's number. It goes straight to voicemail and my panic doubled. How could he do this to me?
