Zachary hesitated and struggled for ten minutes before he pushed open the door to get out of the car and walked into the florist. “Sir, would you like to buy flowers? I just want to give her flowers.” The shopkeeper smiled. “What about a bouquet of roses interspersed with baby’s-breath?” Zachary had never bought flowers for a woman.
