Tristan picked up the cigarette packet on the table, took one stick, and handed it to Izaak. He lit up Izaak's cigarette.
“Now that I’m back, how about we work together, bro?” Tristan politely suggested.
Izaak took a deep breath and exhaled the smoke. “I already have a Cortes who is a pain in the ass," he answered while eyeing Trevor with hostility. "Having another one is a risky move.”
Tristan nodded. Izaak probably intended that to sound like a joke, but it didn’t.
Tristan knew that he got rejected. In Acienda, as long as he got a nod from Izaak, he could easily transport goods through the ports without much tax burden and customs duties.
“Can we stop talking about business for once?” Trevor complained and raked his hair with his fingers in frustration. “Besides, didn’t Mom introduce you to someone?” he said to his younger brother. “She wants you to marry. Deal with that first.”
