Sylvia fell asleep after lying idle for an hour or so. When she woke up, the sky was already dark. The man beside her had woken up and was staring at her with his deep eyes. She asked, “When did you wake up?” He stroked her face. “Just now.” Sylvia looked at the time. It was 6 o’clock in the evening. They had gone back to rest at around 11 o’clock in the morning, so if he had just woken up, they had probably slept around seven hours. She sighed a breath of relief and leaned onto his chest. Odell stroked her head. “Dinner is ready.
