The elevator climbed upstairs and stopped on the eighth floor. Sherry had brought the hotel card with her. She walked down the corridor to the room where she once stayed in. She pressed the card against the sensor plate mounted on the door. With a swift "beep", the door was opened. There was no light and the air inside was rather stuffy. Despite that, there was an eerie chill. Sherry entered and tried to put the card inside the slot on the wall to activate the lights. Out of nowhere, a large hand stretched out from the darkness and grabbed her wrist.
